I-Tech Mag 1000 PEMF Device Review
An increasing number of people are getting to know the benefits of PEMF therapy.
This kind of treatment is getting the attention it needs to become a viable method of treating various diseases.
There are already PEMF devices of varying effectiveness available on the market.
In order to paint a clear picture for you, I am going to review the Mag 1000 and compare it to my personal favorite – the HealthyLine TAO-MAT-8040P (PEMF).
But first, let’s see how and why PEMF therapy is beneficial.
PEMF Benefits
According to clinical evidence, PEMF therapy has the ability to reduce pain associated with trauma from sports injuries, accidents, burns, and surgeries, as well as from degeneration and disease.
PEMF therapy decreases the symptoms of these conditions in various concurrent ways including via chemical, electrical, mechanical, and magnetic processes within the body’s cells.
The year 1995 is regarded to be the foundation year of PEMF therapy.
It was in 1995 that Siskin and Walker provided a list of clinical results from PEMF on soft tissue damage.
No adverse effects were observed, and they reported the following positive effects:
- Reduced inflammation
- Reduced pain
- Faster functional recovery
- Increased range of motion
- Accelerated healing of skin wounds
- Decreased muscle loss after surgery
- Reduced tissue necrosis
- Faster nerve regeneration
- Enhanced capillary formation
- Increased tensile strength in ligaments
Moreover, according to numerous studies, PEMF therapy has been reported to successfully treat a great variety of challenging musculoskeletal disorders.
At the cellular and sub-cellular level, PEMF therapy has been able to correct the pathological processes.
For that reason, the range of treatable illnesses has broadened, so now we can claim that PEMF therapy is associated with wound healing, nerve regeneration, graft behavior, and successful treatment of diabetes, heart attack, and stroke, among other medical conditions.
Difference Between High-Frequency and Low-Frequency Magnetotherapy
Low-frequency and high-intensity magnetotherapy are specifically intended for bone tissue recalcification, and are also greatly beneficial for pain therapy and for the treatment of soft tissue in general.
High-frequency and low-intensity are specifically intended for pain therapy, edemas, cicatrizations, and for the treatment of all pathologies that affect soft tissues.
This kind of therapy can also be applied to treat calcification, but in order to be beneficial, it has to be repeated many times.
In other words, a larger number of treatments is needed than with the low-frequency magnetotherapy.
MAG 1000 Review
MAG 1000 is a PEMF therapy device specially designed for home use.
MAG 1000 is provided with a specific adjustable therapeutic belt.
It comes with therapy applicators which are housed in 2 straps with adjustable fasteners.
The device is fully programmable, offering 20 stored programs with an option of different treatments with specific reference to various pathologies.
The user is supposed to select the program with the required frequency and treatment time.
The MAG 1000 machine works with a battery.
Comes with:
- 2 applicators with elastic strap
- Battery charger, power 110/240V AC
- Includes device case
- Instructions for use
The price is very low – $245.00.
However, due to its lower intensities, the device is not capable of penetrating deeply into the body meaning that it will not be as effective as other, stronger PEMF therapy devices.
HealthyLine TAO-MAT-8040P Review
Healthyline is an FDA-registered company which specializes in manufacturing Far Infrared Ray (FIR) therapy devices.
These devices use a combination of far infrared rays, semi-precious gemstones, a pulsed electromagnetic field, and negative ions.
The Platinum Mat 6024 is one of the devices that use this combination.
I really liked it because of the relaxing warmth it provided to my body.
This is because of its FIR radiation, which is beneficial to your health because it boosts blood circulation, detoxifies the body, bolsters the immune system, and more.
This radiation is vital because it is similar to and as important as the heat we get from the sun.
The FIR benefits are produced when the gemstones found in the mat are heated.
These stones (amethyst, tourmaline, and obsidian) are semi-precious and completely natural, which explains why the mat is relatively expensive compared to other heating mats.
But in relation to other PEMF therapy devices, it is reasonably cheap.
And this mat provides the added PEMF benefits, meaning that you get two products in one.
Negative ions are also part of this mat’s benefits.
They are worth mentioning because they help you stay clean from the environmental pollutants present in various forms such as cigarette smoke, strong odors, viruses, bacteria, etc.
Moreover, the mat is made completely out of non-toxic materials, so everyone who is prone to sensitivity of any sort is totally safe while using it.
I was positively surprised by their customer service.
First, before sending a product to you, HealthyLine makes sure to have tested the product.
Then, with your purchase of a HealthyLine mat, you are given a 45-day risk-free trial.
If for any reason you do not like your purchase, you can send it back for a full refund.
The company also offers a 1-year warranty, and an optional 5-year warranty.
Frequency: Built-in 7.8 Hz PEMF
Intensity: Negative ion level at least 1500/cc, FIR 5-14 um
Cost: $1,499.00 (the price goes down to $1349.01 + free shipping if you use the coupon “pemf10s”)
Includes: Non-toxic materials, LED display controller to set temperature, automated EMF filter, and 18 layers with different functions such as EMF-blocking materials

HOW WOULD YOU RATE THIS ARTICLE?
Helen,
Hi, I just tore my Achilles real bad. I have used magna therapy before and it works! But it’s expensive where I live. Can you share more thoughts on I-Tech Mag? I believe this is the one I’m going to buy (If I can find someone who delivers to U.S.)
But I’m looking at the 2000 for more power, instead of 1000. I can’t afford a mat so portable is the option. Can you share any other brands that compare – or are better than I-Tech based on your reviews?
Thanks.
